Founded in 2013, St. Michael’s continues to serve communities in need, including disabled veterans, children in need, families facing food insecurity, and more.
For Christmas & Birthdays, St. Michael’s sponsors the gift wish lists of kids living at the King’s Home shelter. Each child’s gifts are budgeted for $350 per holiday they’re staying at the shelter.
Several times per year, St. Michael’s hosts free wildlife outings for disabled veterans, first responders, and their families to enjoy peace and bonding at Iron Horse Farms.
The found of St. Michael’s Iron Horse Charities — Justin Kane — has steadily built a dedicated outdoors outreach program for disabled veterans and their families to experience peace and comradery with other individuals who’ve faced similar experiences. The goal of this program is to build a bridge between individuals who face isolation after returning from their service & bring community members together.
